Dr. Clyde Smith is
board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He received his medical degree from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, and then completed his internship and surgical residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Smith has been practicing in Austin and Taylor for many years, but is increasing his practice time in Taylor.
Dr. Smith's interest are endoscopy,
colonoscopy, laparoscopy for reflux, hernia, and gallbladder as
well as general surgery/critical care. Breast and thyroid
surgery as well as aesthetic consolations are further areas of
interest.
He sees patients in The Health Center on Wednesday mornings and does surgery right here at Johns Community Hospital.
