Cindy Smith, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, has been
practicing at The Health Center since she completed her advanced
practice training at the University of Texas at Austin in 2001. She received
her diploma in Nursing from Hendrick Hospital in Abilene, and
her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas
at Austin. She has been
a practicing RN for more than 30 years.
As an RN, she worked primarily in ambulatory care with a focus on women's
health issues, and the provision of health counseling about a variety of
health issues. Her special interest is involvement in medical missions to
Central America.
