Skilled Nursing
After surgery or
a severe illness a patient may need professional care to aid in
recovery. Patients convalescing from illness or injuries such as
stroke, heart attack, cardiac surgery, hip and knee replacements,
pneumonia, wound infections, and dehydration can benefit greatly
from skilled nursing services.
The professional
staff at Johns Community Hospital can provide this care. The
services offered include: Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy
that are offered twice each weekday and once a day on the weekends,
IV Therapy and Respiratory Therapy as prescribed by a physician, and
skilled nursing care provided around the clock as valuable resources
to maximize a patient’s recovery.
Patients recovering
from a stroke benefit from the valuable skills offered by our inpatient
and outpatient Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy
Department. Other diagnosis may require services including strength
mobilization, wound care, respiratory therapy, IV therapy, nutrition,
and education.
Let
JCH work with your facility to coordinate skilled nursing services and
