Dr. Meen Misra is board
certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Misra completed her medical and surgical education at the G.S.V.M. Medical
College/Kanpur University in Kanpur, India, in March of 1995. She also did
her internship there before relocating to the U.S. to further her medical education.
Dr. Misra worked as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis
Medical Center in Davis, California, and then went on to complete her residency
training in Internal Medicine at Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical
School in North Chicago, Illinois, from 1999 to 2002.
Dr. Misra is especially interested in the treatment of diabetes, lipid abnormalities,
and the cardiovascular complications of diabetes.
