Dr. Havalda is
board certified by the American Board of
General Surgery
and has been practicing in the area since 1984. He attended Charles University
Medical School in Prague, Czechoslovakia, then completed his
residency in surgery at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, Canada
from 1970 to 1974. Dr. Havalda served as a surgeon with the
United States Army from 1981 to 1987 before being honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Dr. Havalda
has a special interest in abdominal and
cancer surgeries.
