Dr. Havalda is
board certified by the American Board of Surgery
and has been practicing in the area since 1984. He attended Charles University
Medical School in Prague, Czechoslovakia, before going on to complete his
residency in surgery at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, Canada
from 1970 to 1974. From 1981 to 1987, Dr. Havalda served as a surgeon with the United
States Army before being honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Colonel.
In his practice, Dr. Havalda is particularly interested in abdominal and
cancer surgeries.
