Commitment
The mission of the Johns Community Hospital is to render quality
healthcare services to persons in Taylor and the surrounding area
without regard to their ability to pay. Integral in the provision of
health care services, Johns Community Hospital strives to improve
the health status of the community it serves in conjunction with
other community entities.
As
our population grows, we expect the need for health care to grow.
Johns Community Hospital continues to expand and improve our
facilities and services, purchase state-of-the-art equipment, and
maintain high standards for quality patient care.
Johns Community Hospital is a non-profit organization, which
receives no tax support. Operations are supported from revenue
received from providing patient care. Any revenue in excess of
expenses is invested into the hospital for medical equipment and new
patient services. We also depend on community donations for these
needs. Donations in any amount are very welcome.
Continued Quality Care
Emergency Department renovations, Computed Radiology unit, as well
as upgrading the fire alarm and oxygen systems hospital-wide are
just a few examples of our commitment to serving you with the
highest standards and best technologies available.
As
we look to the future, Johns Community Hospital hopes to continue
providing the quality health care our community has come to know and
respect.
Future projects include:
-
Upgrading and adding new equipment for Surgery and Radiology
Departments;
-
Expanding the Diagnostic Imaging Department;
-
Implementing electronic health records.
Community
The hospital has grown and expanded thanks to the generosity of our
community through ...
- donations in
honor or memory of a special person or occasion
- pledges paid over time to help with special projects
- estate planning
