Diabetes Education Program

Knowledge is the greatest weapon used in the fight against Diabetes. Whether you have just been diagnosed with Diabetes or have had it for many years, it is important to learn as much as you can about this serious disease and its life threatening complications. Diabetes can be kept under control. It is your choice to take charge and learn to live with Diabetes.

The Education team consists of a Certified Diabetes Educator, and a Family Nurse Practitioner. A highly qualified resource group contributes to patient education including a Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, and a Physical Therapist.

  • 5 Hour Comprehensive Diabetic Education Program

  • Beneficial information for both type 1 and type 2 Diabetics

  • Developed and taught by a highly educated Health Care Team

  • One-on-one diet counseling with a Registered Dietitian

  • Personalized education on blood sugar monitoring

  • Prevention and detection of complications
